- Outstanding VAT Returns will mean HMRC will look at all tax affairs more closely
HMRC are launching a new VAT Outstanding Return campaign from March 2013 for businesses with late VAT returns or late VAT payments. All tax affairs will be looked at more closely if VAT is not up to date.
- HMRC Employer Annual Returns need filing by 19th May
Employer Annual Returns need to be filed online by 19th May.
- Daily penalties will be charged for late 2010/11 self assessment tax return if not submitted by the end of April.
If you have not filed your 2010/11 Self Assessment tax return yet, penalties of £10 per day will be incurred for each day your return is still late, up to a maximum of £900 (90 days) from 1 May 2012.
